Re: My Mosaic

Can feel anxiety rising and dark thoughts

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow . I can read that you're not feeling the best and that's okay. I want you to know that there are people you can call on that specialise in eating  disorder issues like the Butterfly Foundation for example. I know in Victoria, there is a group called Eating Disorders Victoria but I'm not sure about Australia-wide eating disorder groups. I will admit that this is a topic that I have limited knowledge about although I have in the past experienced what is known as dysfunctional eating and the related social anxiety disorder. Unfortunately, I'm a bit lost in this area despite living with someone in the past who had eating disorder issues.

I will tag @Former-Member in here as I'm concerned about you and would like their advice about this due to Community guidelines and being out of my depth with this. Remember, there are SANE helplines with people to call as well.

Take care and please stay safe.

I’m trying @Judi9877  im so tired though. So fed up. Everything feels out of reach. Out of control. Too much.

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow, I will echo what @Judi9877 has said about reaching out. I know you have been feeling pretty low for a while, and it can be hard to hold on. You have us here with you, and your forum family beside you in this dark time. You are worthy and deserving of help, and sometimes even one conversation with a helpline can turn the tide back for a while. Take care of yourself, stay safe, and remember that you are never as alone as your mind might be telling you.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow  I’m hearing you too.

Can you find something safe to do. A hot drink, a warm blanket, something comforting for you.

Sitting with you, holding your hand. Sending 💙💙💙💙

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow  I am hearing you too and I want to stress how important you are to us here.

Can you put on some music to help change the atmosphere right now? Maybe call someone from church and meet up with them??

I read a book recently called “Backyard to Backpack” written by Evie Farrell, a single Mum who’d been through a cruel marriage breakdown. She took her 6 year old backpacking in Asia for 2 years. I kept thinking about you while reading it and, I know that’s impossible now, but I think you might enjoy 😉 Reading it someday.

Please stay safe sweetie, you are a beautiful person.
