I hope tomorrow morning and bingo goes well, and you have a very nice day 🤗🌺

The sausage rolls are going well but I left the first batch in the oven a tiny bit too long. They are tasty though.

I’m so glad you like them 🤗🌺💜

Re: Cook Along

Yum @Oaktree ! The sausage rolls look so good!

I'll have to make some (one day). I see you put cheese in yours. Good idea!

The only thing I can cook is pancakes from scratch.

1 cup of SR flour

1 large egg room temperature

1 Tspoon of sugar

Enough milk to make a thick cake consistency batter

Mix it with a fork

Leave it alone for 15-20 minutes

Spray a nonstick heavy based skillet and medium Preheat the pan.

Pour desired quantity

Don’t flip until you see bubbles come to the surface.

Re: Cook Along

I hope they worked out for you @ENKELI

They are always different which is one great thing about them - I haven't got any right now - I wish I did - this week has been very busy.

All the best

Re: Cook Along

Thanks @Former-Member

Asparagus and corn sound great together - and with cheese - I have to try this combination in some other form - perhaps with some bacon in a little casserole for one. Ah - yes - my mouth is watering - but I am not looking this late at night. And steamed rice - ah yes - tomorrow I am busy - but I might get some asparagus if I have the time

Good ideas - I like this thread - it's really interesting

@Glisten

Here is my recipe for pancakes

1/2 cup self raising flour

1/2 cup plain flour

1/8 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 whole egg

enough milk to make a thick batter

Mix together with a balloon whisk, cover with wrap and sit in fridge for 30 minutes

cook in hot frypan with a little oil

serve with favourite toppings

Re: Cook Along

@Oaktree  Awesome pancake recipe. I bet you get a nice high floofy pouf?

I just cooked real food. Now I can’t eat.

We just went to the shops and bought the ingredients for lasagna. We usually make 3. One to give to our son and two for me. I usually divide it up and put it in food containers and freeze it. It makes a great meal in the winter that you can just microwave.
